Introducing the ATSA Jobs Board

Introducing the ATSA Jobs Board

By Dr. Cindie T. Husbands, Founder and CEO
American Tailors and Sewing Association

The American Tailors and Sewing Association is building a national pathway for sewing, tailoring, fitting, alterations, bridal, garment care, and industrial sewing professionals.

ATSA was created to support the skilled people who make garments fit, function, and last. Our work focuses on education, setting professional standards, recognized credentials, and stronger connections between trained workers and employers.

The ATSA Jobs Board is one part of that mission.

This board’s purpose is to connect employers, recruiting partners, and workforce organizations with skilled professionals in tailoring, alterations, fitting, bridal alterations, retail tailoring, garment care, costume work, and industrial sewing.

For job seekers, our board is free to use. It offers a place to search for opportunities in a field that depends on skill, reliability, and professional growth. To ensure language is not a barrier, our board supports multiple languages.

For employers, the board offers a focused place to share openings with people who are interested in sewing, tailoring, fitting, and garment-related careers.

We are just beginning, and the board will continue to grow. As more employers post jobs and more candidates join, ATSA will continue working toward a larger goal: building a standards-based hiring pathway for an essential skilled trade.

Our purpose is simple.

We are building a standards-based pathway to certify skills, connect trained professionals with employers, and strengthen career opportunities across sewing, tailoring, fitting, alterations, bridal, and industrial sewing. At its core, ATSA exists to unite a diverse sewing and tailoring workforce, strengthen career pathways, and ensure the skilled people behind fit, alterations, and garment construction are seen, valued, and supported.

ATSAjobs.com is part of that future.
