Our Mission

The American Tailors & Sewing Association is reshaping the professional world of tailoring by building a complete national pathway from education to employment.

We establish industry standards, deliver hands-on training and nationally recognized certifications, prepare qualified instructors, and expand access to professional sew labs and learning opportunities. Through partnerships with schools, libraries, community organizations, retailers, manufacturers, and bridal businesses, we connect emerging talent with the skills, credentials, resources, and employment opportunities needed to build sustainable careers.
